The Shari’ah Compliance & Audit function includes review of financial statements, development of products based on various Islamic modes of finance, dealings with other financial institutions. In addition, it includes the methodology for identifying and minimizing the Shari’ah Non-Compliant risk present in any transaction. Shari’ah Compliance & Audit actually plays an important role in aligning the internal and external affairs of the organization with Shari’ah guidance.
